Our restaurant, vineyard and cellar door share a single story — everything begins on our estate. Certified organic and grown with intention, our wines speak clearly of Bannockburn and the land that shapes them.
Our menus follow the rhythm of the seasons, celebrating Otago’s renowned beef and lamb, wild game, southern seafood, summer stonefruit and organic vegetables — much of it harvested from our kitchen garden, alongside olive oil from our trees and eggs from hens that roam the vines.
Pause mid-ride, settle in for a long lunch, or simply linger over a glass. However you arrive, discover Bannockburn with us.

Seasonal events, long lunches, and moments that celebrate the rhythm of the estate.

From 3.30pm, settle in on the lawn with a sangria or a glass of Carrick wine as local DJ Paul brings a chilled mix of Latin-flavoured soul, jazz and funk to the afternoon. Then, gather around the BBQ for a taste of Brazil. Our kitchen team will be serving a Brazilian-inspired feast from the grill, bringing together generous flavours, great produce and the easy pleasure of sharing good food outdoors. Each year, we gather to unveil Excelsior — our flagship Pinot Noir, crafted from a single block above the old coal seam and made only in exceptional vintages.
